Invigorate (v.)
To give vigor to; fill with life and energy
Our mission is to empower people with autoimmune diseases to take small steps toward remission. Small steps, big impact.

About Invigorate
In our 20s, 30s, and 40s, we’re told this is when life should be taking off—careers, relationships, families, big goals. But when you’re living with a chronic illness, it can feel like everything’s on hold while the rest of the world moves forward.
We’ve been there.
The truth is, your story isn’t over—it’s just unfolding differently. You can still pursue your dreams, build a fulfilling life, and thrive, even with an unpredictable body. With the right tools, support, and self-compassion, you can take back control—one small, sustainable step at a time.
That’s why I created Invigorate: a self-guided platform built by and for autoimmune survivors. We offer free tools, authentic conversations, and realistic lifestyle strategies—without rigid programs or costly barriers—so you can focus on what matters most: living your life, your way.
Meet Karin
Hi, I’m Karin Wagner—founder of Invigorate, co-host of the Invisible Strength Podcast, and proud advocate for the autoimmune community.
Diagnosed with lupus at 23, I spent over a decade navigating unpredictable symptoms, endless treatments, and the quiet grief of losing my “old” healthy self.
Instead of letting lupus define me, I transformed my journey into a mission: to make wellness more accessible, sustainable, and empowering for anyone managing a chronic condition.
Along the way, I co-founded the You Got This, Kid! Leadership Foundation and became a thought leader on chronic illness, resilience, and sustainable wellness.
Through Invigorate and Invisible Strength, my hope is simple: to help you feel seen, supported, and equipped to thrive—even when your path looks different than you once imagined.
Meet Chris
Invigorate wouldn’t be what it is without my co-host and friend, Chris Burton. Chris is the sole proprietor of Di Baddest Consulting, where he works with churches and schools on anti-racism and social justice.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, Chris is a writer, speaker, and minister who holds degrees from Davidson College, Union Presbyterian Seminary, and St. John’s University.
Chris lives with lupus as well, and serves as an ambassador for the Lupus Foundation of America and a Social Justice Fellow for The Memorial Foundation.
His voice has been featured everywhere from TEDx, Why do we suffer?, and A Sermon for Every Sunday to publications like The Hill, The Presbyterian Outlook, and The Christian Century.
He also co-hosts CrossStreets, a podcast exploring race, culture, and soul care. At Invigorate, Chris brings his lived experience, wisdom, and heart to every conversation, reminding us that healing is as much about community and justice as it is about personal resilience.
